When I was ten years old, my older twin sisters were cast in their high school play, The Lottery, at George Wythe High School. They were cast as "townspeople" and were told that it would be good if they could find a kid to play their "children."  My twin sister and I were drafted and from the moment I stepped onto that stage, I knew that this was it.  I had been bitten by the proverbial bug.  Forty-one years later it is my honor and privelege to watch teens just like myself venture out of their comfort zones to join in a school production, only to have their lives changed forever by the transformative power of the theatre.
